개인정보처리방침Privacy Policy

다독AI(DadokAI): AI 번역 리더(패키지 com.limepen.ebookreaderwithai.mobile, 이하 "앱")는 개인 개발자가 운영하는 개인 프로젝트로, 별도의 사업자·법인 없이 운영자 개인이 제공합니다(이하 "운영자"). 본 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 처리하고, 왜 처리하며, 사용자가 어떤 권리를 갖는지 설명합니다. DadokAI (package com.limepen.ebookreaderwithai.mobile, the "App") is a personal project run by an individual developer, provided by that individual operator with no business entity or company behind it ("the operator", "I"). This policy explains what information the App processes, why, and what rights you have.

본 방침은 대한민국 「개인정보 보호법」 제30조 및 개인정보보호위원회 「개인정보 처리방침 작성지침」(2025. 4.)을 참고하여 작성되었습니다. 앱이 개인정보를 수집·보유하지 않는 특성에 따라, 일부 항목은 "해당 없음"으로 표기됩니다. This policy is prepared with reference to Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act (Republic of Korea) and the PIPC "Guidelines for Drafting a Privacy Policy" (Apr. 2025). Because the App neither collects nor retains personal information, some items are marked "Not applicable."

1. 처리하는 개인정보 항목1. Information we process

1.1 기기에 로컬 저장되는 데이터1.1 Data stored locally on your device

이 데이터는 사용자 기기에 저장되며, 운영자 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. API 키는 기기의 보안 저장소에 저장됩니다.This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. API keys are kept in the device's secure storage.

1.2 AI 번역 시 전송되는 데이터1.2 Data sent when you use AI translation

번역 기능을 사용하면, 번역 대상이 되는 텍스트(사용자가 선택했거나 화면에 표시 중인 책 본문 일부)가 사용자가 선택한 번역 제공자로 전송됩니다. 어떤 제공자로 전송될지는 사용자가 앱 설정에서 직접 선택합니다. 각 제공자의 데이터 처리에 대해서는 해당 제공자의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다. When you use translation, the text to be translated (a portion of book content you selected or that is on screen) is sent to the translation provider you selected. You choose which provider is used in the App's settings. Each provider's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.

운영자는 번역 텍스트를 저장하지 않으며, 전송은 사용자가 번역을 요청한 경우에만 발생합니다.We do not store translated text; transmission only occurs when you request a translation.

1.3 AI 번역 신고 시 전송되는 데이터1.3 Data sent when you report an AI translation

Google Play 「AI 생성 콘텐츠」 정책에 따라, 앱은 부적절한 AI 번역 결과를 운영자에게 신고하는 기능을 제공합니다. 사용자가 직접 신고를 제출할 때에만, 신고 대상 텍스트(원문 및 해당 AI 번역문), 선택한 신고 사유, 입력한 코멘트(선택), 사용한 번역 제공자·모델, 앱 버전·플랫폼·대상 언어가 운영자의 신고 처리 서버(Cloudflare)로 전송·보관됩니다. 이 데이터는 부적절한 콘텐츠 검토·조치 목적으로만 사용되며, 신고에는 계정·로그인이 필요하지 않습니다(익명). 남용 방지를 위해 사람 인증(Cloudflare Turnstile)이 적용될 수 있습니다. In line with Google Play's "AI-Generated Content" policy, the App lets you report inappropriate AI translation results to the operator. Only when you submit a report, the reported text (the source and its AI translation), the selected reason, any optional comment, the translation provider/model used, and the app version/platform/target language are sent to and stored on the operator's report server (Cloudflare). This data is used solely to review and act on inappropriate content; reporting requires no account or login (anonymous). Human verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) may be applied to prevent abuse.

1.4 계정 및 클라우드 (해당 없음)1.4 Accounts and cloud (not applicable)

현재 앱에는 회원가입·로그인 기능이 없으며, 클라우드 계정이나 서버 동기화를 제공하지 않습니다. 따라서 운영자가 보관하는 계정 정보나 서버 측 사용자 데이터는 존재하지 않습니다. The App currently has no sign-up or login and provides no cloud account or server-side sync. Accordingly, we hold no account information or server-side user data.

2. 수집·처리하지 않는 정보2. Information we do NOT collect

운영자는 앱을 통해 아래 어떤 정보도 수집하지 않습니다.Through the App, we do not collect any of the following.

• 이름·이메일·전화번호 등 개인 식별 정보 (회원가입·로그인 자체가 없음)Personally identifiable information such as name, email or phone (there is no sign-up or login at all)
• 위치 정보, 연락처, 사진·미디어 라이브러리, 통화·문자 기록Location, contacts, photo/media library, call or SMS logs
• 광고 식별자, 기기 식별자, 사용 통계·분석 데이터Advertising IDs, device identifiers, usage statistics or analytics
• 결제 정보 (인앱 결제 없음)Payment information (there are no in-app purchases)

또한 운영자는 광고를 게재하지 않고, 제3자 추적·분석 SDK를 사용하지 않으며, 사용자 데이터를 판매하거나 공유하지 않습니다.We also serve no ads, use no third-party tracking/analytics SDKs, and never sell or share user data.

3. 개인정보의 처리 목적3. Purpose of processing

기기 내 데이터는 (a) 책 읽기·독서 상태 저장, (b) 사용자가 요청한 번역 제공 목적으로만 사용됩니다. 모든 처리는 사용자 기기에서 이루어지며, 위 목적 외의 용도로는 이용되지 않습니다.On-device data is used only to (a) provide reading and reading-state features and (b) provide translations you request. All processing happens on your device and is not used for any purpose beyond the above.

4. 개인정보의 보유 및 파기4. Retention and destruction

모든 데이터는 사용자 기기에만 저장되며, 운영자 서버에는 보유·파기할 데이터가 존재하지 않습니다. 사용자가 앱을 삭제하거나 기기 설정에서 앱 데이터를 지우면 해당 데이터는 즉시 완전히 파기됩니다. AI 번역 시 전송되는 텍스트는 운영자가 저장하지 않으며, 처리 후의 보관은 사용자가 선택한 제3자 제공자의 정책을 따릅니다.All data is stored only on your device; we hold no data on our servers to retain or destroy. When you uninstall the App or clear its data in your device settings, that data is immediately and completely destroyed. Text sent for AI translation is not stored by us; any retention after processing follows the policy of the third-party provider you selected.

5. 정보주체의 권리·의무 및 행사방법5. Your rights and how to exercise them

사용자는 자신의 데이터에 대한 열람·정정·삭제 권리를 언제든지 행사할 수 있습니다. 모든 데이터가 사용자 기기에만 존재하므로, 사용자는 별도의 신청 절차 없이 앱 내에서 직접 책·북마크·설정·API 키를 확인·수정·삭제할 수 있으며, 기기 설정에서 앱 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다. 운영자가 보관하는 개인정보가 없으므로 운영자를 통한 열람·삭제 요청 대상 데이터는 존재하지 않으나, 본 방침과 관련한 문의는 제9조의 연락처로 하실 수 있습니다.You may exercise your rights to access, correct and delete your data at any time. Because all data resides only on your device, you can directly view, edit or delete your books, bookmarks, settings and API keys within the App, or clear the App's data in your device settings — no request procedure is required. As we hold no personal information, there is no data to access or delete through us; for questions about this policy, please contact us using the details in Section 9.

6. 개인정보의 안전성 확보조치6. Security measures

운영자는 서버로 전송·저장하는 개인정보가 없으나, 기기 내 데이터의 안전을 위해 다음 조치를 적용합니다.Although we transmit and store no personal information to any server, we apply the following measures to protect on-device data.

• 번역 제공자 API 키는 운영체제가 제공하는 기기의 보안 저장소(secure storage)에 보관Translation provider API keys are kept in the OS-provided secure storage on the device
• AI 번역 요청 시 텍스트는 암호화된 통신(HTTPS)을 통해 전송Text for AI translation requests is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections
• 운영자 서버에 사용자 데이터를 저장하지 않아 서버 측 유출 위험이 원천적으로 없음No user data is stored on our servers, structurally eliminating server-side breach risk

7. 아동의 개인정보7. Children's privacy

앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 주된 대상으로 하지 않으며, 누구로부터도 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 따라서 법정대리인의 동의를 받아야 하는 개인정보 수집은 발생하지 않습니다.The App is not primarily directed to children under 14 and does not collect personal information from anyone. Accordingly, no collection requiring a legal guardian's consent takes place.

8. 면제 항목 (스토어·법규)8. Exemptions (stores & regulations)

앱이 개인정보를 수집하지 않고 계정 기능이 없으므로, 다음 항목들은 적용 대상에서 제외됩니다(면제).Because the App collects no personal data and has no account system, the following do not apply (exempt).

참고: AI 번역 시 전송되는 텍스트(1.2)는 사용자가 직접 설정한 제3자 제공자가 처리하며, 운영자가 수집·저장하지 않습니다. 해당 데이터 처리는 각 제공자의 방침을 따릅니다. 한편 AI 번역 신고(1.3)는 사용자가 직접 시작하는 전송으로, 운영자가 검토 목적으로 신고 내용을 보관합니다. Google Play 데이터 안전에서 이는 「사용자가 직접 전송하는 콘텐츠」에 해당하며, 상시 수집되는 개인정보는 없습니다.Note: Text sent for AI translation (1.2) is handled by the third-party provider you configured and is not collected or stored by the operator; its processing follows that provider's policy. Separately, AI translation reports (1.3) are a user-initiated transmission that the operator retains for review. In Google Play Data Safety terms this is "content the user initiates sending," and no personal information is collected on an ongoing basis.

9. 개인정보 보호책임자 및 문의9. Privacy officer and contact

운영자는 개인정보 처리에 관한 업무를 총괄하고, 개인정보 처리와 관련한 정보주체의 문의·불만을 처리하기 위하여 아래와 같이 개인정보 보호책임자를 지정하고 있습니다.We have designated a privacy officer to oversee personal information matters and to handle inquiries and complaints regarding the processing of personal information, as set out below.

개인정보 관련 문의·불만·열람 요청 등은 위 연락처로 접수하실 수 있으며, 운영자는 지체 없이 답변·처리하겠습니다.You may submit privacy inquiries, complaints or access requests to the contact above, and we will respond and act without delay.

10. 권익침해 구제방법10. Remedies for rights infringement

정보주체는 개인정보 침해로 인한 구제를 받기 위하여 아래 기관에 분쟁 해결이나 상담 등을 신청할 수 있습니다. 운영자와 별개로 운영되는 기관이므로, 운영자의 처리에 만족하지 못하거나 보다 자세한 도움이 필요한 경우 문의하시기 바랍니다.To obtain relief from a personal information infringement, you may apply for dispute resolution or counseling to the agencies below. These operate independently of us; please contact them if you are not satisfied with our handling or need further help.

11. 개인정보처리방침의 변경11. Changes to this policy

본 방침은 법령·정책 또는 앱 기능의 변경에 따라 개정될 수 있습니다. 향후 계정·동기화 등 개인정보를 처리하는 기능이 추가되거나 내용이 변경되는 경우, 운영자는 개정 사항을 본 페이지에 게시하고 변경 사유 및 시행일과 함께 공지합니다.This policy may be revised in line with changes to laws, policies or App features. If features that process personal data (e.g., accounts or sync) are added later or the content changes, we will post the revisions on this page together with the reason and effective date.
